Hospitality has a new name and location in the city and its called Café Royal. Thursday night saw the launch of The Club at the Hotel Café Royal. From fancy restaurant to five-star luxury, Regent Street’s iconic Café Royal, once frequented by the likes of Oscar Wilde, David Bowie, Lulu, Bridget Bardot, and Mick Jagger. As a prelude to that we were treated to an early present with an invitation to what will surely be London’s newest social hotspot located inside the hotel’s shiny new belly.

Once fully unwrapped, Café Royal, which has been a national treasure for almost two centuries, will continue its celebrated legacy with its new incarnation and will feature a wide variety of new places to enjoy food and drink, from the casual elegance of The Brasserie to the sophistication of the exquisitely restored Domino and Grill Rooms. The iconic restaurant has also undergone a spectacular transformation to match the new five-star hotel. Paying homage to the history of the building, grand historic areas are being sensitively restored, while serene new rooms and suites are being created in a refined style.

BRIC Magazine founder Lydia Vladimirskaya, marketing guru Suhel Seth and social butterfly Amber Le Bon were just a few of the glittered and glamorous in attendance at what turned out to be the party of the year. The hospitality was incredible, with over 1,000 sophisticated VIP guests. Every 2nd person was GQ/Vogue worthy cover model, the food was amazing 9/10, vibe 10/10.
