The Karneval der Kulturen ( Carnival of Culture) has taken place every year since 1966. It lasts for 4 days with a free and open program to celebrate diversity. It is an annual appointment that is unmissable. During the festivity, there are different costumes, makeup, masks and more. All this in order to promote Berlin as a multicultural city, but also in order to publicise the diversity of cultures that exist around the world.
